Jocelyn L. Buckley is a founding partner of Buckley & Turner, PLLC. Her practice focuses on general business transactions and contracts, and oil, gas and mineral law in Texas and Pennsylvania, including drillsite and division order title examination, due diligence projects related to the acquisition and divestiture of mineral properties, and the preparation of real property instruments in connection with upstream oil and gas operations.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1999 from the University of Maryland College Park, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2003. Prior to founding Buckley & Turner, Jocelyn was a Senior Associate Attorney at a successful Houston, Texas law firm for nearly a decade. She began her career as a field landman working in the Barnett Shale, and specializes in stand up title examinations upon client request.
Jocelyn is licensed to practice law in Texas, Pennsylvania and New York and is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, the Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Permian Basin Landman’s Association, and the North Houston Association of Professional Landmen.
When not in the office, Jocelyn enjoys spending time with her son, Duncan, skiing in Colorado, and summers in upstate New York.
